  • 18.09.1985: Began medical studies at Philipps University in Marburg.
  • 01.10.1991: Practical year at St. Markus Hospital, teaching hospital of Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt, including a surgical rotation at Hammersmith Hospital, London.

Professional Career:

  • 01.12.1992 – 28.02.2003: Assistant physician in the Internal Medicine Department at St. Markus Hospital, Frankfurt, and Municipal Clinics Frankfurt-Höchst.
  • 26.02.2003: Board certification as a Specialist in Internal Medicine.
  • 01.03.2003 – 30.06.2004: Specialist training in Nephrology at Westpfalz Clinic Kaiserslautern.
  • 26.06.2004: Subspecialty certification in Nephrology.
  • 01.07.2004 – 30.06.2005: Senior physician in the Second Medical Clinic at St. Markus Hospital.
  • Since 01.07.2005: Senior physician in the Internal Medicine Department at Tauernklinikum Zell am See.

Dissertation:

  • “CAM 26 and CAM 29 as New Tumor Markers in Breast Cancer Compared to CEA and CA 15.3” under Prof. Dr. Schmidt-Rhode, Medical Center for Gynecology and Obstetrics, Philipps University Marburg.
