Further training
The Ritzensee Private Clinic offers a wide range of training and professional development opportunities, which are taken up by many of our staff members. The range of options extends from in-house events and online courses to external training programmes, supported by time off work and funding schemes provided by the company.
Leisure & Family
Nowhere else can you make the most of your precious free time. Breathtaking natural scenery, crystal-clear water, mountains and glaciers are all within easy reach. There is a wide range of sporting activities available in the area around our hospital: from alpine skiing and golf to kitesurfing, mountain biking and Zumba. Family-friendly hiking areas with gentle hills are perfect for exploring. The Pinzgau also offers a wide range of events throughout the year: jazz, theatre and classical concerts. It takes just over an hour to reach the city of Salzburg, which offers a wide range of cultural attractions.
Staff canteen
Our head chefs and their teams provide patients and staff with breakfast, lunch, dinner and a late-night snack every day. Freshly cooked, hot meals – with or without meat – and crisp, seasonal salads are served daily. As the company provides a meal allowance for its staff, meals can be booked at a reasonable price.
Workplace health promotion
The Occupational Health Service at the Ritzensee Private Clinic is committed to preventing occupational illnesses and to maintaining and improving the physical and mental health of all staff members. A wide range of initiatives, events and talks are designed to promote the well-being of colleagues in the workplace. For example, fruit is regularly provided free of charge at the workplace, and for those interested there are courses to help counteract the effects of sedentary or standing jobs, body composition analyses and much more. In addition, group events and celebrations are organised to encourage social interaction outside of the working day.
Through regular surveys, the Workplace Health Promotion Programme gathers and evaluates employees’ views on their situation at work. Our occupational psychologists and the company doctor provide guidance and support for these projects.
Fixed working hours
Where possible within the context of the workplace, employees’ needs are taken into account, for example through part-time work, flexible working hours, working from home and time off. Appropriate, up-to-date shift planning and a modern time-recording system are, of course, a given.
Special requests, such as part-time work for parents, return-to-work programmes following prolonged absences due to illness, or bereavement leave, are taken into account as far as possible in consultation with managers and teams.
Diversity
In our family-run business, we place particular emphasis on modern management practices and a collaborative working environment within our teams.
We respect all our staff for their individuality and uniqueness, and treat one another as equals. We don’t focus on our differences; instead, we highlight what we have in common. We see this as an asset that enables us to care for our equally diverse patients together every day.
Performance reviews & workload reductions
Occupational health specialists and occupational psychologists support employees in extreme situations in their day-to-day working lives. A conversation aimed at providing relief and stability following a traumatic experience brings clarity and offers reassurance.
In addition, regular staff appraisals with line managers take place in the departments. Jene Gespräche dienen dazu gehört zu werden. The staff appraisal provides an opportunity to discuss all the important issues that don’t get addressed in the day-to-day routine.
Staff
Events
We bring colleagues together outside of their everyday working lives. Whether it’s hiking, running events, skiing or big celebrations. There is always a suitable supporting programme in place.
