rights<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Every patient has the following rights in particular, taking into account the purpose of the institution and the services offered (\u00a7 21 SKAG):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"col-2 wp-block-list\"><li>the right to inspect his\/her medical records and to have copies made at his\/her own expense;<\/li><li>the right to be comprehensively informed about the treatment options, including their respective risks, by a medical specialist in a comprehensible manner;<\/li><li>the right to receive information on request about the state of health and the course of treatment from a doctor authorized to practice independently in an understandable and gentle manner;<\/li><li>the right to sufficient visiting and contact opportunities, whereby a person of trust can also visit the patient outside regular visiting hours in the event of a sustained deterioration in the patient&#8217;s state of health;<\/li><li>the right to pastoral care at the patient&#8217;s request;<\/li><li>the right to psychological and psychotherapeutic support at the patient&#8217;s request;<\/li><li>the right to privacy and confidentiality;<\/li><li>the right to consult a doctor authorized to practice independently in general medical matters;<\/li><li>the right to die with dignity;<\/li><li>the right to have the general rhythm of life taken into account as far as possible;<\/li><li>the right to ensure that, when providing inpatient care for children, the facilities are as child-friendly as possible and that parents are able to care for their children and visit them in accordance with their developmental stage;<\/li><li>the right to confidentiality of the data concerning him\/her in accordance with the applicable provisions.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Patient Patients&#8217;
