    Journey

    By car

    Travelling from Germany or Switzerland:

To reach the Ritzensee Private Clinic, take the A9 motorway (Munich–Salzburg) and exit at Bad Reichenhall. Then follow the road towards Lofer. You will cross the German–Austrian border and reach Saalfelden via the B311, which is toll-free. Once in Saalfelden, take the exit for Zell am See / B311 at the first roundabout. At the second roundabout, continue straight ahead until you reach the left turn between the petrol station and the Hofer supermarket (Aldi in Germany). Turn here and, after about 50 metres, turn right slightly uphill towards Ritzensee. Follow the road for 1.5 kilometres and turn right at the Hotel Ritzenhof. Continue straight on past the lake; after about 500 metres, the Privatklinik Ritzensee will be directly in front of you. The signs for Ritzensee will help guide you!

Coming from Maria Alm or the Hochkönig:

Once you arrive in Saalfelden, continue along Hochkönigstraße for about 2.5 kilometres. At the first junction (opposite NKD and Billa), turn left over a bridge onto Ritzenseestraße and follow the road past the Hotel Ritzensee (on the left) and Lake Ritzensee (on the right).
